A delegation of 10 students from Felix-Fechenbach-Berufskolleg, Germany, arrived in Sendai on 23rd October and stayed with the families of our students for a week.

Our college and the FFB signed an academic exchange agreement in 2002 and have visited each other’s institution every other year.

The recent project of this academic exchange has been focusing on understanding reconstruction efforts after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.

During their stay, they made a courtesy call on President Dr. Hiroshi FUKUMURA, and Mr. Shiro YAMADA, Mayer of Natori City. In addition, they visited Yuriage Area (Natori City) and Okawa Elementary School (Ishinomaki City), which are the most severely damaged areas by tsunami.

In the college festival on 27th and 28th October, they gave a final presentation on their project to public guests.

The delegation finished their projects with success and returned to Germany on 31st October. Ten of our students are supposed to visit FFB in May 2019.
