A welcome party for international exchange students was held on June 3rd, at Hirose Campus Shoin-kaikan. On the same day, 12 international exchange students and one teaching staff, Dr. Pikulkaew Tangtisanon, arrived from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) in Thailand. Then, with the international exchange students from the partner institutes in France and Finland who have already arrived, all the international exchange students who stay in the spring semester came together. Our students and teaching staff members welcomed international exchange students from partner institutes. Also, on the 4th, Dr. Pikulkaew Tangtisanon visited the Natori campus.
International exchange students are assigned to the laboratory, work on project-type research with our students, and learn Japanese and Japanese culture. In addition, since international exchange students stay in student dormitory during their stay, international exchange students and dormitory students will communicate in various situations. It will be a good international exchange opportunity for both international exchange students and Japanese dormitory students.
