On January 5, 2021, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Academic Exchange between Tamkang University in Taiwan and Sendai KOSEN. Due to the spread of the COVID-19 infection, a signing ceremony was not held, and the memorandum signed by each party was exchanged by mail instead.

Tamkang University is a private university in Tamsui District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. It has ranked number one out of a list of private universities in Taiwan for 22 consecutive years in the “1,000 Enterprises’ Favorite College Graduates” survey conducted by Cheers, a well-known magazine published by the Common Wealth Magazine Group.

Although currently suspended due to the spread of the COVID-19 infection, direct flights used to fly from Sendai Airport to Taiwan regularly. We believe that it will be convenient to send and accept students for internships when these flights resume.

We expect a wide range of student exchanges and joint research between Tamkang University and Sendai KOSEN in the near future.
