On March 25, 2021, we signed a Memorandum of Agreement on Academic Exchange between KOSEN-KMITL and Sendai KOSEN. At the same time, Nagaoka KOSEN and Tsuyama KOSEN also signed MoAs with KOSEN-KMITL. Due to the spread of the COVID-19 infection, an online signing ceremony was held, and the memorandum signed by each party was exchanged by mail instead.

KOSEN-KMITL was established in May 2019 at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in Bangkok, Thailand, and has been conducting a five- year engineer education program, which is the same as the KOSENs in Japan.

The MoA will accelerate the establishment of a credit transfer scheme which fulfils the requirements for graduation of both Sendai KOSEN and KMITL, making it possible for relevant students to obtain an Associate Degree from both schools. We expect that this will strengthen the mutual exchange and cooperation between KOSEN-KMITL and Sendai KOSEN.
